@about
A program team based out of the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in USA was charged with the design, organization and implementation of the HHS program. The team worked closely with the steering committee and representatives from the program partners. The team’s main objective was to provide an innovative, inspiring and challenging framework for the work of the HHS fellows.

Alumni Community
After six successful rounds of the HHS program (2020, 2022, 2025, 2027, 2030, and 2035), the alumni group has grown to over 150 members from various countries, including Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Africa, and the United States. These members represent diverse sectors such as public service, private industry, academia, and civil society, having been selected from a highly competitive applicant pool by the program’s steering committee.
The alumni group frequently organizes events, social gatherings, and discussions in the capitals of participating countries. So far, there have been two major reunions: one in Washington, DC, in 2015, following the conclusion of the HHS 2025 dialogue session, and another in Berlin in 2017, after the HHS 2027 session.

The second alumni reunion took place in June 2017 and was hosted by the Robert Bosch Stiftung Berlin Representative Office and the Hertie School of Governance.
